I’m debating swapping an XJ wheel into my ZJ. Largely to get rid of the almost 30-year-old  airbag which I don’t entirely trust, but also because I left it in the sun the other day and yeah. I don't know that it's real leather, but it still wasn't exactly pleasant to the touch.

My Mustang had a luminum trim on the steering wheel. There was no thumbs on the spokes on summer days.

I do have a Raceseng Ashiko... 735g of almost solid aluminium. I looked at that “accessory” when ordering, but being in the temperate Pacific Northwest I skipped it.

I can see the case when and where such a thing will be useful, though....
